Binding & finishing
Every common binding style — from saddle stitch and wire-O to hard cover with gold lettering — plus laminating.
We bind documents you’ve printed with us, or ones you bring in already printed.
Binding styles
- Saddle stitch — folded and stapled through the spine, like a booklet or exercise book. The fastest and most economical option for high volumes. Page counts must be in multiples of four.
- Wire-O — a metal double-loop wire, like a ring notebook. Works for as few as 10 sheets or as many as 300.
- Plastic ring (comb) — lets you add or remove pages later. Rings come in 15 diameters from 8mm to 51mm, in a range of colours.
- Perfect binding — a glued, squared-off spine like a paperback or magazine.
- Thermal binding and tape binding.
- Hard cover binding — your printed sheets bound in a rigid board cover in the colour you choose, with hot-stamped lettering in gold, silver, black, white or blue.
- Hard cover screw binding and hard cover colour wrap.
Theses and dissertations
We bind theses and dissertations, including hard covers with the university’s logo. We already have the metal logo plate for some universities; for others, a new plate is made first.
Laminating
Hot and cold laminating, up to A0 and larger, to make documents and posters durable, wipe-clean and waterproof. Cold laminating has a minimum of 4 pieces for A4 and 2 for A3.
How long it takes
Most binding is ready within 3 working days, not counting weekends and public holidays. Hard cover colour wrap takes 7 to 10 working days; orders received after 6pm count from the next working day. Tell us if you have a deadline — we also offer same-day binding.
